So you want to marry your sweetheart in the Big Apple, but where do you hold the ceremony? One of the best-kept secrets is that there are many little-known places for a New York City wedding.

Whether you want an indoor ceremony in a classic historical building or your dream outdoor ceremony with botanical gardens and sculpted hedges  - I've got four great spots for you!

So without further ado, here are my top four little-known places for your NYC wedding ceremony:

St. Paul’s Chapel

The impressive architecture of St. Paul’s Chapel is a fitting and unique setting for a variety of different types of wedding ceremonies. Many people get married at St. Paul’s Chapel at Columbia University every year. It can accommodate weddings as large as 400 guests with any cultural, religious, family and individual traditions.

St. Paul’s Chapel is located on the Columbia University campus in Manhattan Fields.

The New York Public Library - Stephen A. Schwarzman Building

The NYPL Stephen A. Schwarzman Building is perfect for the couple who wants to have a ceremony with an air of grandeur and distinction as it’s an old-school historic building with loads of character. And you can feel good knowing that all event fees support the Library’s indispensable collections, services and programs

The NYPL is located at 5th Ave and 42nd Street, New York, NY.

The Bronx Zoo

While you might never have considered saying your wedding vows at the zoo, it is truly a unique and unforgettable experience. This is another place you can feel good about renting, as all event proceeds go to support the Wildlife Conservation Society and their mission.

The Bronx Zoo is located at 2300 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY 10460.

The Brooklyn Museum

The Brooklyn Museum is a stunning venue for weddings. It offers beautiful backdrops of the European masters. From the Renaissance period artwork, to its historic glass-block floor and magnificent arches, the Beaux-Arts Court can provide a dazzling environment for any reception.

The Brooklyn Museum is located at 200 Eastern Parkway in the New York City borough of Brooklyn.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my list of four little-known places for your NYC wedding ceremony. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials to your significant other. I hope this will help you find the perfect place to hold your wedding!
